So, yesterday morning when I was leaving the house (extremely hungover at the time) I knew I wasn’t coming home for at least four days. So I decided to bring a variety of shades of polish and decide later. I pull them out tonight and realize that, out of my insane rainbow of shades, I seriously brought 4 pinks, 5 greens, and 2 reds. That’s it. I have an issue.

Waaaah… I just checked on the status of my Zoya order and it turns out that one of the polishes I chose was on back order so it hasn’t even shipped yet. If they had told me before I checked out I totally could have ordered another color. Plus, now that I’m looking at it, I don’t even know why I ordered “Madison”.. It looks like it’s going to be too sheer to do anything. I wonder if I can call today and change my order since it hasn’t shipped yet. I’m extremely excited for “Robyn” though… I don’t have any blue creams yet. I hope that’s not the one on back order.

I decided a few days ago to leave a calcium treatment on my nails until my Zoyas came in.. just to give them a little break. But, that was when I thought they might be here tomorrow.

These are some serious first world problems. 

I’m going to do my nails to cheer myself up. Any ideas?? I’m all tapped out.

Ebay haul and 80s nails

I finally got some stuff I was waiting on from Ebay yesterday.  

I got 5 2-way nail dotting tools

They range in size from about a needle to about half the size of a pencil eraser (that one will be good for polka dots)

I got ten sets of false eyelashes for future use.

BUT… my absolute favorite thing I got was 20 rolls of metallic striping tape. I didn’t photograph them individually because they’re each in their own ziploc bag and I don’t want to take them out until I use them. So I did 80s nails to showcase them

I used sinful colors black on black, an old OPI holographic top coat called Paris Couture For Sure, and three rolls of tape in pink purple and green.

This is what I got….

I wish you could see how insanely sparkly this is in real life…. it’s so distracting. 

The tape wasn’t the easiest thing to work with but I feel like I will get much better..

Next time I think I’m going to go with stripes and dots because I can’t wait to try out those dotters.
