So, I frankened my first bottle of polish last night and for my followers who don’t know what that means.. I just mixed like 4 different polishes together to make a new one.
I have been lusting after OPI Creme De Menthe for a few months now.. ever since I ran across swatch photos and tried to buy myself a bottle on Ebay.

Turns out this polish is extremely hard to find.. the cheapest I could find a bottle was 47 dollars. I was so defeated until I decided to make myself a bottle.
I used 2 parts Sinful Colors Mint Apple, one part Urban Outfitters Admission, like 3 drops of OPI Jade is the new Black, and like 10 drops of China Glaze Treehugger. I mixed it all together in an old Seche Vite bottle.

Clearly it didn’t look anything like Creme De Menthe because that would make me a wizard… But I still like it.

This photo is 2 coats with topcoat. Clearly not the same… but still pretty. I’m sure I’ll try this one again soon.
Things I learned
1. Should you mix a small amount first? Yes.
2. Did I need an entire bottle of this polish? Probably not.
3. You ABSOLUTELY do have to have the little metal mixing balls.. I stole mine out of an old dried bottle of cotton canto top coat.
4. Is this my new favorite polish? Yeah.. probably.
Best day ever…
